The Yorkton Terriers will look to bounce back and get back in the win column tonight as they continue their northern road swing with a stop in La Ronge to take on the Ice Wolves at the JRMCC Arena.
The Terriers opened their four-game, five-day road trip last night in Flin Flon, where they dropped a 3–1 decision to the Bombers. Zach Hertz provided the lone goal for Yorkton — his third of the season — while goaltender Callum Crieg was steady in net, turning aside 34 shots in the loss.
Despite the setback, the Terriers have been playing strong hockey of late, having won three of their last four games and showing improved consistency on both sides of the puck.
Tonight marks the first meeting of the season between the Terriers and Ice Wolves. La Ronge enters the contest with a 4–8–3 record and will be looking to build some momentum of their own on home ice.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
