Terriers Rolling Into December

As the calendar flips to December, the streaking Yorkton Terriers are looking to carry their momentum from a strong November into Weyburn tonight, where they clash with the Red Wings while riding a three-game winning streak.

The Terriers, winners of eight of their last eleven, have found their groove—showing they can win in a variety of ways.

They’re coming off a convincing 6–1 victory on home ice Sunday afternoon against the Warman Wolverines, a game highlighted by William Léonard extending his goal streak to five straight, and goals from six different Terriers.

Goaltender Callum Creig earned his eighth win of the season and appears to be rounding into form. The Calgary native has allowed just a single goal in each of his past two starts, posting a .964 save percentage over that stretch and boosting his season mark to .903.

Tonight marks the fourth meeting of the season between these Bunge Division rivals. The Terriers will be searching for their first win of the year against Weyburn after dropping 5–4 and 6–2, and 5-2 decisions.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM.
