The Yorkton Terriers will hit the ice at home for the first time this preseason tonight, looking to make it back-to-back wins over the Virden Oil Capitals.
Yorkton opened its preseason schedule with a 6-4 victory on the road in Virden last night, led by a hat trick from Yorkton product DJ Brass. Kaden Sperle, Layne McKechnie, and Ashton Marzsalek also found the back of the net in the victory.
The Terriers split the goaltending duties, with Brady Low stopping 13 of the 15 shots he faced before Seth Gutenberg turned aside 8 of 10 in relief.
Tonight, the scene shifts to Westland Insurance Arena as the Terriers get their first chance to hit the ice in front of the home crowd this preseason.
