Do-or-die. Win or go home. However you want to phrase it, the Yorkton Terriers season hangs in the balance
After another one-goal loss in Game 5 on home ice, in front of nearly 2,000 fans, the Terriers have been pushed to the brink of elimination. Now, they’ll look to replicate what they accomplished in Game 4— grab a win up north and drag the North Stars back to Yorkton for a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday night.
The Dogs have been road warriors all season long, posting an SJHL-best 19 victories away from home, and adding three more in the postseason.
The margin for error in this series has been razor thin. Aside from Yorkton’s 7-2 win in Game 4, every contest has been a tight battle—featuring three 3-2 finals and a 3-1 result. It’s been a series that has had it all: stellar goaltending at both ends and elite special teams play.
Do the Terriers have some road magic left up their sleeve?
We’ll find out at 7:30 tonight.
