Terrier Celebrity Dinner Raises $70,000

The Yorkton Terriers continue to feel the strong backing of their community, as the third annual Terrier Celebrity Dinner proved to be another overwhelming success.

The Terrier Celebrity Dinner Committee announced that this year’s event raised an impressive $70,000 in support of the Yorkton Terriers hockey club, marking another major milestone for the growing fundraiser.

Held in front of a fantastic crowd at St.Mary’s that included community members, sponsors, and passionate hockey fans, the evening once again showcased the deep connection between the Terriers and the Yorkton community.

The event featured special guest Jeremy Roenick, who entertained attendees with stories from his playing days and experiences in the hockey world, adding to an already memorable night.

Beyond the stories and celebration, the event highlighted the incredible spirit of support that continues to surround the organization.

“This event continues to grow year after year, and the support from the community has been incredible,” said Terriers President Curtis Malysh. “Raising $70,000 is a testament to how much the Yorkton Terriers mean to this city,” added Malysh.

Proceeds from the dinner will go directly toward supporting the Terriers, helping to offset operational costs while ensuring the organization can continue to provide high-quality development opportunities for its players, both on and off the ice.

The Dinner Committee also extended its sincere appreciation to everyone who played a role in the event’s success, including sponsors, volunteers, attendees, and contributors. Their continued generosity and commitment remain vital to strengthening both the hockey club and the broader community it represents.
