The Battle of Highway 10 is officially down to a best-of-three.
The Melville Millionaires doubled up the Yorkton Terriers 4–2 in Game 4 Friday night at the CN Community Centre.
Now, the focus shifts back to Yorkton—and this is exactly the moment the Terriers built toward all season.
Through the grind of a 56-game schedule, Yorkton earned the right to home-ice advantage. With the series now reduced to a best-of-three, that edge becomes even more important. The Terriers will return to Westland Insurance Arena looking to feed off the energy of a raucous home crowd and regain control of the series on their own ice.
Game 4 saw a pair of Terriers find the back of the net for the first time this postseason, as Brett Buckley and Cash Lanigan provided the offence in a hard-fought effort.
There’s little separating these two teams through four games, and that’s reflected in where things now stand. With the series tied and every game carrying heightened importance, execution, discipline, and energy will be at a premium.
For the Terriers, the opportunity is clear—return home, lean on their identity, and take advantage of the atmosphere that’s made Yorkton a tough place to play all season.
Game 5 is set for 7:00 PM, with a chance for the Terriers to take a crucial step toward advancing.
