The Yorkton Terriers wrapped up their annual team awards for the 2025-26 campaign, with defenceman Thomas Ries taking home the Most Valuable Player Award.
The Humboldt product was also named the SJHL Defenceman of the Year after a remarkable season that saw him lead all SJHL defencemen in goals with 16 and points with 48.
Ries said it was an honour to be named Team MVP.
“It was such a great year and such a great group of guys. I can’t wait for next year,” said Ries.
