The Yorkton Terriers announced today that Director of Marketing and Public Relations Calvin Tokarchuk has signed a two-year extension with the organization.
A Yorkton product through and through, Tokarchuk has become one of the most recognizable faces of Terrier game nights over the past three seasons. Whether it’s bringing energy during media timeouts and intermissions or helping strengthen community partnerships behind the scenes.
Tokarchuk said he’s grateful for the opportunity to continue helping grow the organization he’s so passionate about.
“I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to continue my journey with the Yorkton Terriers and for the confidence the board and organization have shown in me with this extension. It means a great deal to have their trust and belief in the vision we are building toward together.
What our coaches, players, and staff have accomplished on the ice over the past three seasons has been nothing short of incredible. From the commitment and work ethic behind the scenes to the success our fans see every game night, in the community and more, the Terriers continue to raise our standard year after year.
None of it would be possible without the passion and support from our community. Our businesses, volunteers, billets, fans, and supporters have been a major catalyst to our success and are a huge part of what makes the Yorkton Terriers such a special organization. This is truly a community team, and Terriers Nation continues to prove that every single season.
The future of the Yorkton Terriers is incredibly exciting. What we’ve accomplished so far is only the beginning, and I’m proud and honoured to continue being part of ‘Our Team.’
Thank you, Terriers Nation.”
Terriers President Curtis Malysh echoed the excitement surrounding Tokarchuk’s return and the impact he continues to make within the organization.
“The board is excited to have the man in the orange hat return to the team for two more seasons. We are looking forward to the excitement that Calvin brings to Terrier game days and his tremendous work as our marketing director.”
Welcome Back, Calvin!
