Penrod Traded to MJHL’s Terriers

Written by: Blake Friars
Head Coach and General Manager Emery Olauson has announced that 2006-born forward Trey Penrod has been traded to the Portage Terriers of the MJHL.

A native of Saskatoon, Penrod donned the Terriers’ jersey five times this season, recording two assists during his time with the team.

Olauson spoke highly of Penrod and the decision to trade him:

“Trey is a great young man, and all he needs is an opportunity to move up the lineup,” said Olauson. “He wasn’t getting that here, but I’m excited about this opportunity for Trey and wish him nothing but the best with his new team.”

In related news, tonight’s game between the Terriers and Red Wings was been postponed due to an ammonia leak.
