Terriers Searching For 7th Straight Win

The Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires face off again tonight, just 24 hours after a heart-pounding 7-6 overtime victory by the Terriers in one of the most exciting games of the season.

It could easily be dubbed The Keenan Ingram Game. The 20-year-old Calgary, AB native had his fingerprints all over the scoresheet, with two goals, including the OT winner, and two primary assists.

The Terriers’ resilience was on full display. They battled back from 4-3 and 6-4 deficits to secure their sixth consecutive win.

There was a pair of knee-on-knee suspensions last night on either side. The Mills will be without Ryan Roethke for one game, while Terriers forward Tylan Henrikson will sit for two games.

Captain Jaron Desnoyers added to the team’s momentum, notching an assist on Carter Briltz’s second goal of the game and extending his league-leading point streak to an impressive 12 games.

In goal tonight, the Terriers will turn to Ethan Farrow, who has been in top form, winning his last four starts.

Meanwhile, the action shifts to Rail City, where the struggling Millionaires are desperate for a turnaround. Melville is mired in a seven-game losing streak, with four losses coming by narrow one-goal margins.

With emotions running high after last night’s barnburner, fans can expect another hard-fought matchup as these two rivals collide once again.
