The Yorkton Terriers will look to close out their preseason schedule with back-to-back wins over their Highway 10 rivals, the Melville Millionaires.
Yorkton took the first half of the home-and-home set Friday night, earning a 6-4 victory in Melville in a high-scoring affair that featured a six-goal second period.
The Terriers received goals from Peter Godley, Kaden Sperle, Colin Ruotsinoja, Austin Horbachewsky, Dylan Brass and Aidan Vallance, with Brass scoring the eventual game-winner in the third period.
Dylan Low went the distance between the pipes for Yorkton and was sharp, turning aside 36 shots to earn the victory.
Expect the Terriers to ice a lineup that closely resembles their opening-night roster tonight as they get one final tune-up before the games start counting for real next weekend against the Estevan Bruins.
