Terriers Add More Defence for 2024-25
The Yorkton Terriers are excited to announce the signing of Montreal Quebec native Thierry Laliberte. Thierry played his 2023-24 season in the QCHL with the Saint-Laurent Patriotes.
A lot went into the decision process to move from his home province, Laliberte explains "I wanted a new challenge where I can progress as a player and as a person. I am happy to join a community and a team ready to put the efforts needed to win. Leaving Montreal for Yorkton is a great opportunity for me to learn new stuff and meet new people. I am very excited."
The excitement for the upcoming season has been felt by both returning and new players, Thierry is no different. He discusses what he is most excited for and what he brings to the Yorkton Terriers, “Of course I want good competition. As a player and as a team. I want to be part of building something with the team. I am really thrilled to this new adventure in Yorkton. I am a two way defenceman that will bring offence skills and intensity. I am a team player, I already start to feel as a Terrier. It's really nice, a few players texted me this summer. I like to be part of a team on the ice and off the ice."
Welcome to the Yorkton Terrier Family!
