Terriers Looking To Bounce Back in Game 4

The Yorkton Terriers are looking to bounce back after a 5-2 setback in Game 3 on the road against the Melville Millionaires a night ago.

In Game 2, the Terriers’ power play was key to their victory, going 3-for-4. However, in Game 3, it was the Millionaires who capitalized on special teams, scoring twice with the man advantage. The Terriers had plenty of opportunities on their six power plays but couldn’t solve Ben Laurette, who turned aside 38 of 40 shots in the win.

Game 3 also saw the first playoff action for rookie goaltender Callum Creig, who replaced Ethan Farrow after a couple of tough bounces went against him. Creig didn’t have much time to settle in, facing a penalty shot shortly after entering the crease—but he stood tall, making the save. He finished the night with 19 saves on 21 shots in relief.

If there’s one word to describe the 2024-25 Yorkton Terriers, it’s resilient. They’ve faced plenty of adversity this season and, more often than not, have come out on top. Tonight presents another big test as they aim to take a 3-1 series lead back to Yorkton for Friday night’s Game 5.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM, and you can catch the game on FloHockey and GX94.
