Goalie Creig Signs With Terriers

The Yorkton Terriers are very happy to announce the signing of 2006 born Calgary product Callum Creig.

What can the fans expect from Creig when he is on the ice this season? He says, "I am a great skating goalie which helps me to make difficult saves that many others typically would not be able to. I am an athletic goalie who has a high compete level and will do anything to make a save in order to help the team win. I also pride myself on being a team player who supports and encourages my teammates to help them achieve our goals." Creig finished his 2023-24 campaign with the Island Wild of the JPHL U18 League with an 11-4 record, 2.47 GAA, .912 SV% and 3 Shutouts in 15 games. With his signing, the Terriers will look to have one of the best goalie stables in the the SJHL with the Dynamic Duo of Farrow and Creig. "Callum brings with him a consistent high save percentage and he has the ability to push his goalie counterpart while being a great teammate. I was thrilled when Callum committed his services to Yorkton and we are fortunate to add a goalie of his ability!" comments Coach Olauson.

Callum expresses what he is looking forward to in 2024-25." This season I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know the guys on the team and living in Yorkton. I'm excited about having a great first junior A season and helping the team towards a successful season on the ice and in the standings."
