Yorkton Seeks Season Sweep Against Nipawin

Often in hockey, the saying goes: they don’t ask how — just how many.

The Yorkton Terriers’ 4–3 overtime victory over the La Ronge Ice Wolves — sealed by a Cash Lanigan goal — certainly wasn’t a Picasso, but they continue to find different ways to win games. Yorkton is on a torrid run, having won 20 of its last 24 contests while extending its Bunge Division lead to four points over Weyburn.

Tonight, the Nipawin Hawks make their final visit of the season to Westland Arena. The Terriers have won all three previous meetings between the two clubs.

The Hawks enter the night in fourth place and have won seven of their last ten games.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM.
