For the first time since the opening week of December, the Yorkton Terriers will look to bounce back from back-to-back losses.
Yorkton is coming off a pair of defeats to their Bunge Division rival, the Weyburn Red Wings, results that saw their lead atop the division shrink from eight points to four. This afternoon, the Terriers turn their focus to the Melfort Mustangs.
Melfort is also looking to respond after suffering a loss to the Nipawin Hawks — a defeat that snapped their 12-game winning streak. That run helped the Mustangs surge up the SJHL standings and clinch a playoff spot.
The Terriers enter the contest sitting second overall in the SJHL, while the Mustangs come into the game with 60 points, good for sixth place in the league.
