Terriers Streak Halted at Eight.

The Yorkton Terriers opened the scoring early once again. Vinay Junek buried his 16th of the season on the power play after a beautiful feed from captain Tylan Henrikson to give Yorkton a 1–0 lead.

The Bruins answered with a power-play goal of their own, as Ewan Rennie finished off a slick passing play for his 29th of the season.

The Terriers regained the lead late in the opening period when defenceman Riley Cormier fired a puck toward the net that found its way past Dylan Adams for his first of the season.

Yorkton outshot the Bruins 11–7 in the first period.

The middle frame featured a single goal, as the Bruins pulled even once again. Ethan Andrews capitalized on another power play to tie the game 2–2. The Bruins outshot the Terriers 18–6 in the second period.

In the third period, the Bruins grabbed their first lead of the night when Rennie beat Montoya for his second goal of the game. They added to their lead moments later after an unfortunate bounce at the Terriers’ blue line, allowing Rylan Williams to snap a shot high glove side on Montoya to make it 4–2.

The Terriers cut into the deficit late in the third with a response from Aidan Vallance, but that was as close as they would get, as their eight-game winning streak came to an end.

Yorkton will have Sunday off before hitting the road for a Monday afternoon 3:00 PM matinee against the Humboldt Broncos.
