KINDERSLEY, SK: The Yorkton Terries continue their four-game road trip tonight as they tangle with the Kindersley Klippers for the second time of the season.

These two teams met on September 28th in Yorkton, and the Terriers took a 5-2 decision.

The Terriers rose from the dead last time out on the road in La Ronge, storming back from a 4-1 deficit to defeat the Ice Wolves 6-5.

The Terrier’s powerplay stayed hot in the win, going 3/4, raising it to 23.8%, good for 4th in the league. As for the PK…they did surrender a goal against but still sit atop the SJHL at 91.5%

The Terrier’s young guns have had an opportunity to step up in the absence of David Coyle, Jeff Hammond, Jye Zawatsky and Tate Schofer, all out of the lineup due to injury.

Vinay Junek has gotten the opportunity to play some big minutes for Head Coach Emery Olauson, as he has been sandwiched between Captain Jarron Desnoyers and Dustin Renas on the Terrier’s Top Line,, and he came through in the clutch in the final stages of Wednesday night’s tilt with La Ronge scoring the game-winning goal.

A Look At The Opposition
The Klippers have enjoyed a nice start to their season, coming into tonight with an 8-4 record and sit atop the Nutrien Division and third overall in the SJHL Standings.

They are led upfront by Will Christian with 11 points in 12 games.

The Terriers will search for their third win in a row; puck drop goes from West Central Events Centre at 7:30 PM, and the game will be on GX94 Radio and Flo Hockey.
