A trip to the Canterra Seeds Cup is now down to a best-of-three.
The Yorkton Terriers made a powerful statement in Game 4, erupting for seven goals in a dominant performance. Defenceman Gavin Bartha led the charge with a multi-goal effort, while Yorkton native Jye Zawatsky delivered a four-point night.
Cash Lanigan, Thomas Ries, Gabriel Courchesne, and Vinay Junek also found the back of the net, highlighting the Terriers’ balanced and dangerous attack.
One of the biggest takeaways from the win was Yorkton’s efficiency on special teams. The Terriers went 3-for-5 on the power play and were perfect on the penalty kill, shutting down all five North Stars opportunities.
Now, the series shifts back to the Parkland Region, where Westland Insurance Arena has been one of the toughest buildings to play in all season. With the stakes rising, so will the intensity—each win bringing the Terriers one step closer to their ultimate goal.
