Terriers Look to Bounce Back in Melville

One of the best things sports can offer is the chance for redemption.

That’s exactly what the Yorkton Terriers will be chasing tonight, as they look to bounce back from a tough 7-2 loss on home ice to their Highway 10 rivals, the Melville Millionaires.

The Terriers started strong, skating to a 1-1 tie after the opening period, but the Millionaires took control from there—scoring three unanswered goals on two separate occasions to skate away with the victory.

Zach Hertz and Gabriel Courchesne provided the offence for Yorkton, while goaltender Callum Creig turned aside 33 shots in the defeat.

Tonight, the scene shifts to the Rail City as the Parks Cup series continues. The Terriers will be looking to snap a brief two-game slide and respond with a stronger effort. Puck drop from the CN Community Centre in Melville is set for 7:00 PM.
