YORKTON, SK – As the calendar flips to February, the Yorkton Terriers continue their road play a matchup against the Estevan Bruins.

This marks the fourth meeting of the season between the Bruins and Terriers, with Yorkton dominating the head-to-head series so far. The Terriers have won all three previous matchups, outscoring Estevan 15-7 in the process.

Yorkton enters the game riding the momentum of a 4-2 home victory over the Notre Dame Hounds. Dustin Renas led the offence with two goals, while Tylan Henrikson and David Coyle also found the back of the net.

These two teams will become quite familiar with each other this month, as they are set to face off twice more in February.

For the Bruins, it’s the start of a new era following the departure of Head Coach Jason Tatarnic. Interim bench boss Drew Kokur has taken over, and under his leadership, the team has earned points in four of their last five games (2-1-2). However, Estevan remains on the outside of the playoff picture, sitting nine points back of the final postseason spot currently held by the Kindersley Klippers.

Puck drop is set for 6:00 PM at Affinity Place.
