Terriers Finally Return Home, Battle Mills

After 21 days away from Westland Insurance Arena, the Terriers will finally skate in front of their home fans—and what better way to kick off the weekend than with a Highway 10 Battle? Tonight, the Yorkton Terriers square off against the Melville Millionaires for the third time this season.

Yorkton enters the matchup fresh off a demanding four-game, five-night northern road swing, where they battled their way to a 2–2 record with wins in both La Ronge and North Battleford. It was a trip that tested the Terriers’ depth, resilience, and special-teams play—key areas they’ll look to build on as they return to home ice. For the fans, tonight also marks the team’s first home appearance since Halloween, as the Terriers temporarily lose access to Westland Insurance Arena each November when Harvest Showdown rolls through.

In the standings, the Terriers sit third in the Bunge Division at 10-8-1, currently holding down the final playoff spot as the season approaches its quarter mark. Melville isn’t far behind—just two points back at 8-10-2—making tonight’s clash even more meaningful. With rivalry stakes and playoff positioning in play, this latest chapter of the Highway 10 Battle promises energy, intensity, and plenty of emotion.
