It’s Game Day!

The Terriers hit the road tonight in Virden, the second preseason meeting with the Oil Capitals.

These two teams met on Labor Day Monday, and the Terriers won 4-3 in a shootout thanks to Vinay Junek’s lone marker.

That game featured zero returning players in the lineup for the Terriers, as the rookies got an opportunity to showcase their talents and impress their new bench boss.

A guy that set a good first impression in the opening preseason game was Calgary native, Quinn Tavender. He showed some quick footwork, playing well with Junek most of the night, scoring twice, and nearly capping off the hat trick in overtime, but his breakaway was denied.

Tonight’s game will feature seven returning players including; Yorkton’s Jye Zawatsky, Aiden Knutson, Dustin Renas, and starting goaltender Ethan Farrow.

Tonight’s game begins at 7:00 MB time from Tundra Oil & Gas Place
