YORKTON, SK: The Yorkton Terriers will be looking to bounce back after defeat for the first time this season.
The last time they were in action was a Satur afternoon matinee against the Humboldt Broncos, a decision they lost 7-4.
In that game, the Terriers had a few firsts, as Keenan Ingram, Vinay Junek, and Tyler Palin all scored their first as a Terrier; the latter two were their first SJHL goals.
They turn the page tonight and focus on the Nipawin Hawks for the first of four meetings this season.
Callum Creig will man the crease tonight for the orange and black; he came in relief of Farrow Sunday and stopped 11 of the 13 shots he faced.
Also drawing into the lineup is defenceman James Durfee. Durfee, an Estero, Florida native, is set to make his Yorkton Terriers debut.
A Look At The Opposition:
The Nipawin Hawks come into tonight at 1-6-1 in the season. Their lone win was an OT victory on the road against the Estevan Bruins.
Yesterday, the Hawks made a trade, bringing in 18-year-old defenceman Conor Ryan from the Flin Flon Bombers. Last season, the St. Johns Newfoundland product suited up 16 times for the Bombers, scoring once and adding three assists.
Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM from Westland Insurance Arena, or you can watch the game on FloHockey.
