Terriers, Bruins Set For Home and Home

It’s another Yorkton Terriers game day as they hit the road to face the Estevan Bruins, continuing their final stretch of away games. After tonight, only one more road game remains before they return to Westland Arena in Melville.

A home-and-home series against the Bruins might be just what the Terriers need to snap out of their recent slump. The season series has been completely one-sided in Yorkton’s favor—they hold a perfect 5-0 record against Estevan, outscoring them 34-14.

The Terriers enter tonight’s matchup three points behind the Weyburn Red Wings for first place in the Viterra Division and hold a two-point lead over Melville. Meanwhile, Weyburn and Melville face off in a crucial two-game series this weekend, with playoff implications heating up as the SJHL season winds down.
