Terriers Begin Two Game Homestand

The Yorkton Terriers will look to snap their two-game winless streak tonight as they host the Nipawin Hawks at Westland Insurance Arena.

The team’s offense gets a significant boost with the return of Captain Jaron Desnoyers to the lineup. Desnoyers, who ranks second on the team with 43 points and sits in the top five in SJHL scoring, will strengthen an already potent powerplay and play a key role on the penalty kill.

There’s more positive news in the crease. While Callum Creig won’t start tonight, he will serve as the backup to Ethan Farrow, who will make his 21st start of the season.

The Terriers will also aim to continue their strong play at Westland Insurance Arena, where they have been dominant this season with a 13-4 record on home ice.

Tonight’s game marks the third meeting of the season between the Terriers and Hawks. The teams have split the previous two matchups, with Nipawin claiming a dramatic overtime victory in their last encounter at The Cage.
