COTE FIRST NATION, SK: Quinn Tavander scored his first two SJHL goals of his career, and Callum Ceig stopped 25 of 27 as the Yorkton Terriers defeated the Estevan Bruins at Cote First Nation.

The Terriers would respond with a tally from Tavender, with Thomas Ries picking up the assist.
The Terriers went 0/2 in the first period and were outshot 8-7
In the middle frame, the Terriers took their first lead of the hockey game on Tavender’s second of the evening. David Coyle picked up the lone assist on the goal.
That was the only scoring in the middle frame; the visitors held a 19-14 shot advantage after forty minutes.
Just 20 seconds into the third period, the Bruins would level up the score as Moors connected on a Bruin Powerplay.
Eight minutes later, the Home side would strike back on the powerplay, as Vinay Junek extended his goal streak to six games with his seventh of the season.
Dustin Renas iced the game away with an empty net goal; with the goal, his point streak is now at 11 games. Desnoyers extended his point streak to nine games with an assist.
The Terriers added another one right at the horn, as Tylan Henrikson connected on the powerplay for a 5-2 lead.
The Terriers went 2/8 on the man advantage and improved to 9-7 on the season. They will be back in action tomorrow night against the La Romge Ice Wolves in Churchbridge.
