Take two. The Yorkton Terriers and Estevan Bruins will try again tonight after last night’s scheduled matchup in Yorkton was postponed due to inclement weather.
Tonight marks the third meeting of the season between the two clubs, with the previous two games coming in Estevan and resulting in a split.
The Terriers enter the contest riding the momentum of their most impressive win of the season, a 7–3 home victory Tuesday night over the SJHL’s top-ranked team.
One player heating up at the right time is veteran goaltender Callum Creig. Creig has won four of his last five starts, posting an outstanding 1.80 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage over that stretch. On the season, he now carries a 2.99 GAA to go along with a .906 save percentage.
Yorkton comes in with a 15-10-2 record, sitting five points back of the Bruins while holding two games in hand. The Terriers are tied for the least amount of games played with 27.
Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM from Affinity Place.
