Surging Terriers Host Bruins

For the second time in three days, the Yorkton Terriers will host their Bunge Division rivals, the Estevan Bruins.

On Wednesday night, the Terriers skated to a 3–1 victory, extending their winning streak to four games. Gabriel Courchesne, Thomas Ries, and Tylan Henrikson provided the offence, while Alexandro Montoya turned aside 21 shots to secure his seventh win of the season.

The streaking Terriers, winners of 13 of their last 16 games, sit on the doorstep of the Bunge Division lead—just one point back of the Weyburn Red Wings, who are in action in Flin Flon tonight.

Estevan, meanwhile, is searching for answers. The Bruins have dropped five straight games and have managed just three goals over that stretch, all coming off the stick of Rylan Williams. The skid has left Estevan tied for sixth place in the SJHL standings.

Puck drop is 7:00 PM.
