Seven Terriers Selected For Showcase

The Yorkton Terriers will be well-represented at the upcoming SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Winnipeg later this month.

Veteran forwards Dustin Renas, Keenan Ingram, David Coyle, and Jaron Desnoyers have been selected to play for U20 Team White.

Renas, currently among the top five in SJHL scoring, expressed his excitement and pride upon receiving the news.

“It’s exciting to have the chance to perform for the league [SJHL] and play alongside some of its top players,” said Renas. “It’s also an honour to represent the City of Yorkton. The fans have been unbelievable all season, and their support fuels us and our success as a group,” he added.

Meanwhile, rookies Bryce Dahl, Thomas Ries, and William Leonard will join U18 Team Blue, with Emery Olauson serving as Head Coach for the team.

Olauson shared his pride in the organization and its players for their hard work this season.

“It’s great to see so many of our players recognized for this event,” said Olauson. “A huge congratulations to them, but also to their teammates who have played a key role in helping them achieve this accomplishment,” he added.

The Showcase will take place at Seven Oaks Sportsplex on January 28-29, with each team scheduled to play two games.
