COTE FIRST NATION, SK: Tate Schofer scored three times and the Terriers got goals from six other goal-scorers as they defeated the MJHL’s Waywayseecappo Wolverines 10-2.
Thierry Lilliberte found the back of the net twice, also Thomas Ries tallied his second of the preseason and added an assist.
It was another strong showing for Green Bay, Wisconsin native Bryce Dahl, who had two more primary assists, one coming on one of the three powerplay goals the Terriers scored in the game.
Upfront Jye Zawatsky, Try Penrod, Jeff Hammond, and Jaron Desnoyers also found the scoresheet.
In goal, the Terriers again split the duties, this time with Ethan Farrow and Kieran Madill. Farrow was a perfect 10/10, while Madill stopped 11 of the 13 shots he faced.
This also wraps up play with MJHL opponents as the Terriers went a perfect 3-0 against the Virden Oil Capitals and the Wolverines.
They will now shift their focus to the rival Melville Millionaires for a home and home that begins Friday night at the CN Community Centre in Melville. Puck drop is 7:30 PM.
