Yorkton Visit League-Leading Bombers

The Yorkton Terriers continue their three-game road trip tonight in Flin Flon as they take on the first-place Bombers.

Yorkton is coming off a high-octane comeback victory Friday night in Nipawin, where they erased a 4–1 deficit and stormed back for a 7–5 win. The victory was fueled by a four-goal performance from William Léonard, who now sits at 24 goals on the campaign—good for second in SJHL scoring, trailing only Ewan Rennie of the Estevan Bruins.

Callum Creig came on in relief and was outstanding, stopping 23 of 24 shots to earn his 15th win of the season.

Tonight’s challenge won’t be an easy one for the Terriers. The Whitney Forum has been a fortress for the Bombers, who are a perfect 15-0-0 at “The Zoo,” outscoring opponents 83–35 on home ice.

It sets up an entertaining matchup, with the Terriers winners of seven of their last eight games, while the Bombers enter riding a seven-game winning streak.

Puck drop is set for 7:30 PM.
