The Yorkton Terriers head south for a showdown with a Bunge Division rival as they clash with the Estevan Bruins in the Energy City. This marks the fifth meeting between the two clubs this season. After Estevan claimed the early matchup, Yorkton has responded in a big way, winning three straight meetings and outscoring the Bruins 14–4 over that stretch.
The Terriers are coming off a weekend split with the Kindersley Klippers, earning a 5–3 victory on Friday night before falling 4–3 in the rematch.
Yorkton enters the contest holding a one-point edge over Estevan in the standings, with two games in hand, setting the stage for what is shaping up to be a tight Bunge Division race. Weyburn currently leads the division with 53 points, adding even more importance to tonight’s matchup.
Fans can expect plenty of offensive firepower, as all five of the SJHL’s top point producers will be on display. Yorkton is represented by William Léonard, Jye Zawatsky, and Gabriel Courchesne, while Estevan counters with Ewan Rennie and Rylan Williams.
Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM at Affinity Place.
