The Yorkton Terriers are officially in the home stretch of their season, with just eight games remaining. Five of those will be played at Westland Arena, beginning tonight as the La Ronge Ice Wolves make their first visit to Yorkton this season.
The Dogs enter the night sitting first in the Bunge Division, two points clear of the Weyburn Red Wings while holding three games in hand—setting the stage for a critical home-and-home showdown next week.
Yorkton has been one of the hottest teams in the SJHL, going 19-4 over their last 23 games. They’re coming off a pair of wins against the Humboldt Broncos and continue to build momentum at exactly the right time of year.
SJHL Goaltender of the Week Callum Creig has been a major part of that surge. Creig picked up his second shutout of the season last week, extended his league-leading win total to 23, and moved into the Top 10 in franchise history for all-time victories.
Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM.
