The Yorkton Terriers are proud to announce that team captain Jaron Desnoyers has committed to the University of Regina Cougars for the 2025–26 season, where he will continue his hockey career and pursue post-secondary education.
The Stoney Plain, AB product has been a cornerstone of the Terriers over the past two seasons, appearing in 112 games and recording a remarkable 134 points. Known for his elite offensive instincts, tireless work ethic, and exceptional leadership, Desnoyers was the driving force behind the Terriers’ success during his tenure.
“Jaron is a rare talent,” said Terriers Head Coach Emery Olauson. “Absolutely top-notch leadership and character, and a world-class motor. I believe he will do extremely well at the USPORT level, and we are very proud of him accomplishing his goal of progressing to the USPORT level!”
