The Estevan Bruins extended their winning streak to four games overall and over Yorkton, as the Terriers gave up a 3-0 lead to fall 4-3. Logan Cyca and Kishaun Gervais had two points each for Yorkton, while DePape made 38 saves in the loss.

Yorkton started the scoring at the 4:36 mark. Cyca finished off a 2-on-1 with Kishaun Gervais for his third goal of the season, giving the Terriers a 1-0 lead. Reagan Sweeney was credited his first career point on the play. Erik Boers scored against his former team to make it 2-0. Boers had a breakaway, which Boston Bilous stopped, but Boers stuffed home the rebound for his fourth goal of the year. Gervais extended the lead to 3-0. Zach McIntyre ran over a Bruin defender, picked up a loose puck and found Gervais wide-open in the slot, where he made no mistake for his team leading 10th goal of the year. Estevan cut into the lead before the end of the period. Alex Von Sprecken threw a shot on goal that DePape never saw, and it was 3-1 Yorkton heading into the break.

Yorkton had a chance to regain their three goal lead in the second, however, Bilous slammed the door on the power-play denying the Terriers, which was the turning point in the game. In the third period, the Bruins came out flying. Mark Rumsey made it 3-2 on the power-play with the assist going to Olivier Pouliot. 40 seconds later the Bruins would tie the game at 3. Cody Davis received a back door pass where DePape came across and made a phenomenal save, only for Davis to bat in the rebound. Mikol Sartor gave the Bruins the game winner, coming down the right wing and squeezing a shot through DePape, making it 4-3.

The Terriers will have a little bit of time off before a home and home weekend with the Melville Millionaires. They will battle the Mils at Horizon Credit Union Centre on Friday with puck drop at 7pm. The game can be heard on GX 94 with the pre-game show starting at 6:50pm.
