The Yorkton Terriers are pleased to announce that graduating forward Jordan Menke (Shamrock,SK) has committed to attend the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Located in Superior, Wisconsin the Yellowjackets compete in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) at the NCAA Division III level.
An Assistant Captain with the Terriers, Menke led the team in regular season scoring with 20-goals and 44-points in 56-games played. He also picked up 9-points in 17-playoff games as the Terriers advanced to the SJHL League Finals. Menke was also voted the Terriers Regular Season MVP by his teammates.
Jordan’s older brother and former Yorkton Terrier Justin recently completed his Junior season with the Ferris State Bulldogs where he registered 18-points in 38-games played.
Menke is the third graduating Terrier to commit to an NCAA school. Ryan Griffiths (St. Marys) and Cody Zubko (Castleton State) are the others.
The Terriers wish Jordan well as he continues his hockey career at the Collegiate level.
